Mums & Bubs Group Physio Exercise Classes
Inner Strength Bayside runs both a 45 minute mat and reformer Mums and Bubs Group Physio Exercise session for mums plus babies. Both classes are suitable from six weeks after giving birth up until your baby is crawling. This will help you regain strength and tone in a safe and fun environment to help you deal with the demands of being a new Mum. The exercises are designed to include your baby and we always incorporate some tummy time.
An assessment is required prior to a Mums & Bubs class:
A 45 minute post-natal assessment with one of our Physiotherapists is required prior to this Mums & Bubs Group Physiotherapy session. During this time we will check for any DRAM (abdominal separation) and may use real time ultrasound over your abdomen to assess your pelvic floor strength. We will also discuss your goals to ensure you get the most out of your Mums & Bubs sessions. This assessment can be done in the clinic or via an online video consultation.
