With over 30 years of experience in Administration, Customer Service, Accounting, and Business Management, Kym is thrilled to apply her expertise to the Allied Health sector at Inner Strength Bayside.
Kym is passionate about helping others and finds fulfillment in supporting both the clinic’s team and its clients, ensuring smooth operations while providing exceptional service.
A Canadian by origin and now a Cheltenham local, Kym appreciates the convenience of living close to work and enjoys connecting with the community. Outside of work, she can often be found cheering on her son at footy matches, catching a movie with her daughter, socialising with friends or exploring local venues that feature live music.
Kym also values her friendships and enjoys socialising with friends, often visiting local venues that feature live music.
Creativity is another key aspect of Kym’s lifetime. She has a natural talent for drawing and watercolour painting and she frequently channels this creative energy into making personalised artwork as gifts for friends and loved ones.
Known for her warm, approcable demeanor and exceptional people skills, Kym is deeply committed to delivering outstanding customer service. She has built a reputation for going above and beyond in ensuring a positive experience for all clients at Inner Strength Bayside.
Alannah has been working as a private practice Physiotherapist for over 7 years after completing a Bachelor of Exercise and Sports Science, and then graduating from the Doctor of Physiotherapy. She has since developed a strong interest in Women’s Health and Pelvic Health Physio, particularly in the pre- and post-partum stages. Through understanding the overwhelming and often conflicting information presented to women, Alannah is passionate about education throughout this unique stage of life.
After completing further studies at the University of Melbourne in pelvic health, Alannah is experienced in doing a thorough pelvic floor assessment, and treats conditions ranging from incontinence or prolapse, to pelvic pain presentations. She enjoys working alongside her pelvic health clients to understand the complexities of their presentation, discuss their goals, and then arm them with the knowledge and skills to find meaningful and lifelong change.
Alannah still very much enjoys treating all areas of musculoskeletal pain, particularly complex cases where she can draw on her knowledge to help her clients achieve their goals and get back to doing what they love. Alannah treats using a combination of hands-on and exercise, and finds clinical pilates a great way to introduce people back to an active life beyond the limits of their pain. She is also experienced in dry needling.
Outside of work, Alannah loves spending time with her partner and their daughter, experimenting with healthy recipes, enjoying a good coffee, and camping with the family.
Caitlin brings over 12 years of experience as a Physiotherapist in private practice, where she treats a wide range of musculoskeletal conditions, with a particular interest in neck pain and headaches. Caitlin is also skilled in leading Physio-Led Exercise sessions and has completed all four levels of DMA Clinical Pilates training. Her expertise extends to Dry Needling and she holds GLAD certification for hip and knee osteoarthritis.
After becoming a mother, Caitlin developed a keen interest in women’s health physiotherapy, especially pre- and post-natal care. Over the years she has expanded her knowledge in this crucial area, recently completing Pelvic Health training through the APA to assess pelvic floor function and treat conditions such as incontinence and prolapse effectively.
Caitlin is passionate about empowering women to stay strong during pregnancy, prepare for childbirth, and recover in the post-natal phase. She looks forward to utilizing her new skills to support women through their journey to better pelvic health.
Believing in a holistic approach, Caitlin combines manual therapy with personalized exercise prescription to help patients of all ages achieve their health and wellness goals.
Outside of work, Caitlin is a mother to two young girls and enjoys skiing, hiking, and traveling.
Grace completed a Bachelor of Applied Science and Master of Physiotherapy Practice at La Trobe University in 2020, before going on to complete her Postgraduate Certificate in Pelvic Floor Physiotherapy at the University of Melbourne in 2023. Her advanced training reflects her strong passion for Women’s Pelvic Health Physiotherapy and her commitment to providing evidence-based, compassionate care for both women and men with pelvic health concerns. Grace has a particular interest in supporting women through all stages of pregnancy and the postpartum period, helping them feel informed, confident, and supported as their bodies change.
Grace is dedicated to helping people live their healthiest, most active lives. She takes the time to listen and understand each client’s unique goals, empowering them to return to exercise, daily activities, and the things they love. She is experienced in conducting comprehensive pelvic floor assessments and treats a wide range of pelvic health concerns in both women and men, including incontinence, prolapse, pelvic pain, and post-surgical recovery. Grace takes pride in creating a safe, comfortable space for clients to discuss what can often be sensitive or personal issues.
Outside the clinic, Grace loves staying active and spending time outdoors. She enjoys running, pilates, and coastal walks, as well as winding down with a good book, experimenting in the kitchen, or planning her next travel adventure.
Petra earned her Bachelor of Physiotherapy from the University of Canberra and has gained extensive experience in both private practice and hospital settings. She has worked with athletes and individuals of all backgrounds, including with football teams in the Victorian Amateur Football Association (VAFA) and the Victorian Football League (VFL), in particular the Sandringham Zebras. This experience has given her a deep understanding of the physical demands of sports and the importance of rehabilitation.
Petra has a strong interest in Women’s Health, along with extensive experience in managing both acute and chronic musculoskeletal injuries, especially those affecting the neck, back, hip, and knee. She is passionate about helping her patients recover and return to activities they love, whether that’s sports or daily tasks. Petra is also GLA:D trained, providing evidence-based treatments for individuals with hip and knee osteoarthritis, focusing on improving function, reducing pain, and enhancing quality of life.
In addition to her clinical work, Petra leads group and one-on-one Clinical Pilates sessions. She offers pre and post-natal Pilates classes, helping women during and after pregnancy to improve strength, flexibility, and overall well-being. Petra integrates physiotherapy with exercise-based rehabilitation, guiding patients from injury recovery to ongoing maintenance, with an emphasis on pain relief, strength, and injury prevention.
Outside of work, Petra enjoys hiking and participating in sports like swimming, running, and netball. She stays active and finds joy in maintaining a healthy lifestyle while inspiring others to do the same.
Luci is the founder of Inner Strength Bayside and has been working for over 20 years as a Physiotherapist in private practice. She enjoys treating all types of musculoskeletal and sporting injuries and has a special interest and many years experience in Women’s Health, Pre and Postnatal Care, Cancer Rehabilitation and Physio-led Exercise (Clinical Pilates), completing all four levels of DMA Clinical Pilates training. She is also qualified in Integrated Dry Needling (www.dryneedling.com.au) and finds this a fantastic treatment option for many conditions.
Luci is experienced in helping men and women diagnosed with cancer rehabilitate their bodies through the Pinc & Steel Cancer Rehabilitation programs. After gaining accreditation in New Zealand in 2009 Luci brought The Pinc Program to Melbourne, being the first Physiotherapist in Victoria to offer the program. Oncology rehabilitation supports people affected by cancer by helping restore strength, flexibility, and stamina. She finds Cancer Rehabilitation to be one of the most rewarding aspects of her work.
As a Physiotherapist, Luci believes in empowering patients throughout their rehabilitation journey, recognising that prevention is just as important as treatment. She takes a whole-body approach and will provide tailored exercises for you to continue at home so that you can achieve your rehabilitation goals.
Luci is a mum to two gorgeous girls and enjoys keeping active and spending time with her family.
Louisa is an experienced physiotherapist with a strong foundation in musculoskeletal physiotherapy and Pilates-based rehabilitation. Louisa studied a Bachelor of Exercise Science before completing her Masters of Physiotherapy Practice. She brings a compassionate, inclusive and client-centered approach to care.
Louisa has experience managing a diverse caseload of musculoskeletal injuries and Women’s Health. She is highly skilled in Clinical Pilates and tailoring rehabilitation programs to support her patients through injury recovery, strength building, chronic pain management and return to sport. Louisa also has experience with Dry Needling.
Whether working with beginners, post-operative clients, or high level athletes, Louisa is passionate about ensuring each session is safe, effective and confidence building.
Louisa is drawn to our clinic’s values of individualised care and community centred support. She is committed to ongoing professional development and enjoys expanding her skills in Women’s Health, as well as other areas of special interest including knee and shoulder injuries. Louisa also has expertise in the development and implementation of gym and running programs, tailored specifically to clients with their goals in mind.
In her spare time, Louisa enjoys running, surfing and walking her dog Axi.
Shreya is a skilled and compassionate physiotherapist who is passionate about helping people move with confidence and feel their best. Graduating from La Trobe University with a Bachelor of Applied Science/Master of Physiotherapy, she has developed a strong foundation in assessing, diagnosing and treating a wide range of musculoskeletal conditions, including the specific needs of pre and postnatal women. Shreya enjoys empowering clients with education, hands-on treatment and tailored exercise programs to support long-term results.
She takes a patient-centred, evidence-based approach, combining manual therapy, exercise rehabilitation and education to support recovery and long-term outcomes. She has completed her DMA Clinical Pilates certification and incorporates Pilates-based exercises into her treatment plans to improve movement control, injury prevention and recovery. She has experience leading both individual and group Clinical Pilates sessions. She enjoys treating cervical and thoracic spine conditions and has developed a special interest in supporting individuals living with chronic pain, bringing a thorough understanding of pain mechanisms to her practice. Known for her warm, thoughtful nature, she creates a supportive environment and empowers patients to take an active role in their recovery.
Outside the clinic, she enjoys learning new hands-on skills, like crochet, painting or baking and values creativity as a way to stay balanced.
