Physio-led Exercise

Inner Strength Bayside's exercise studio is well equipped to provide the optimum environment for rehabilitation, strengthening, balance work and Clinical Pilates in Cheltenham. In addition to group classes, we also offer individual physio-led exercise programs drawing on Clinical Pilates to suit a variety of conditions and life stages, including Pre and Postnatal Care. We ensure prenatal women exercise comfortably throughout their pregnancy, as well as after childbirth. We are also experienced in cancer rehabilitation, helping men and women rebuild their strength and return to doing what they love.

We offer four types of Physio-led exercise group sessions, which cater for all fitness levels and needs. These classes are all run by experienced and qualified physiotherapists and include Group Physio, Mums & Bubs, Pre & Postnatal Group Physio and Oncology Rehabilitation. Our physio-led exercise sessions are a mixture of clinically appropriate exercises, which often include exercises delivered on Clinical Pilates equipment. After several individual sessions, Group Physio sessions are offered. All sessions are run by qualified Physiotherapists who will assess you and ensure the correct techniques are followed, progressing you as appropriate. Our Physios deliver Group Physio programs within an evidenced-based therapeutic framework and they may be claimable under Group Physiotherapy with private health insurance funds.

Kym at reception is always cheerful and kind—she’s genuinely caring and often helps with my 11-week-old during the Mums & Bubs class, which makes a huge difference.The physiotherapists are incredibly knowledgeable. I see Caitlin for the Mums & Bubs sessions, and she makes sure my program is tailored to my stage of recovery. Even though there are four people in the class, it honestly feels like a one-on-one session. Everyone follows their own individual program, and the team tracks your progress each session, which really helps you stay on track. Caitlin even gives my baby cuddles if she’s unsettled—she’s so caring and hands-on!I’ve also seen Alannah for pelvic floor physio and found the appointment extremely thorough. She explained everything so clearly, and I left feeling confident and informed about why I needed to do specific exercises.This place is not only professional and knowledgeable but also warm and supportive. My baby and I always feel welcome and looked after. Highly recommend!
