What to expect from your first appointment<\/strong><\/p>\nYour physiotherapist will have a discussion with you and take a detailed history to help determine the cause of your symptoms, what further assessment needs to be completed, and the best course of action for treatment. A physical assessment may be required which could involve observation, internal assessment (vaginal or rectal) or real time ultrasound. Additionally, your physiotherapist may ask you to complete questionnaires or diaries to help them determine the best treatment for you.
\nOur experienced physiotherapists understand that discussions and assessment around pelvic health can be sensitive, and our hope is that you feel comfortable to discuss things openly and without judgement, and understand that all assessments and treatment will be thoroughly discussed with you prior to gaining your fully informed consent.<\/p>\n
