GROUP PHYSIO
Terms & Conditions
The following terms and conditions are applicable to clients attending Group Physio/Clinical Pilates classes at Inner Strength Bayside — whether paying per session or via a 10-session pack.
At Inner Strength Bayside, our Group Physiotherapy/Clinical Pilates classes are physiotherapist-led and designed to support your individual health and rehabilitation goals. To help us maintain a fair, consistent and high-quality service for all clients, please read and understand the following terms and conditions. Attendance at our Clinical Pilates sessions assumes acceptance of these terms.
1. Holding Your Regular Class Time
If you are taking a break or going on holidays, we will hold your regular class booking for up to 6 weeks. After this time, your spot may be offered to another client on our waitlist.
2. Notice for Planned Breaks
We kindly ask for a minimum of 2 weeks’ notice for any planned break of more than 2 weeks, to help us manage class availability and ensure fairness for all clients.
3. Attendance Expectations
To maintain your regular class time, we ask that clients attend at least 75% of scheduled classes over a 2-month period. If your average attendance falls below this, your regular spot may be offered to a waitlisted client. You are always welcome to rejoin when a suitable class time becomes available.
4. Cancellation Policy
We have an 8-hour cancellation policy for all Clinical Pilates sessions.
Cancellations made within 8 hours of your scheduled class, or non-attendance, will incur the full session fee (or result in forfeiture of one session from your 10-pack).
We appreciate as much notice as possible if you need to cancel, so that we can offer your spot to another client.
5. 10-Pack Terms
10-packs are valid for 6 months from the date of purchase.
Unused sessions beyond this period will expire and are non-refundable.
10-packs are non-transferable and non-shareable between clients.
6. Payment Terms
Payment is required on the day of your session, unless prepaid via a 10-pack.
All prices are subject to change, and clients will be notified of any fee updates in advance.
7. Late Arrivals
If you arrive late to your session, your appointment will still finish at the scheduled time to avoid disruption to subsequent clients. The full session fee applies.
8. Medical Clearance and Safety
As Clinical Pilates at Inner Strength Bayside is physiotherapist-led, an initial assessment is required before joining classes to ensure exercises are tailored to your individual needs.
Please notify your physiotherapist of any changes to your health, injuries, or medical treatments before class. Participation in Clinical Pilates is at your own risk, and you are responsible for following your physiotherapist’s guidance.
9. Annual Review
All Clinical Pilates clients are required to complete an annual review with one of our physiotherapists. This is an individual session designed to review your progress, discuss any new concerns, reassess your goals, and update your program accordingly. These reviews ensure your exercises continue to be safe, effective, and aligned with your current needs.
While annual reviews are the minimum, injuries and changes can occur and in this case it may be clinically indicated to review your program more regularly. This will be discussed with you by your treating physiotherapist.
10. Grip Socks Policy
For hygiene and safety, grip socks are required to be worn in all Clinical Pilates classes. If you forget your grip socks, they can be purchased at reception prior to your session.
11. Waiting Room Etiquette
Please wait in the reception area until your physiotherapist calls you in for your session. This helps ensure a smooth flow between classes, respects the privacy of clients finishing their sessions, and allows our physiotherapists to prepare the studio appropriately.
12. Changes to Schedule or Physiotherapist
Occasionally, physiotherapists or class times may change due to leave, professional development, or unforeseen circumstances. We will always endeavour to provide suitable cover and notify clients in advance where possible.
13. Public Holidays and Clinic Closures
Classes do not run on public holidays unless otherwise advised.
14. Privacy and Records
We collect and store personal and health information necessary for treatment and class safety. Our privacy practices are explained in our Privacy Policy.
By attending classes, you consent to the collection and use of your information for clinical and administrative purposes.
Questions?
If you have any questions about these terms or need clarification, please contact our reception team on 8555 4099.
These Terms & Conditions are current as at the date published and may be updated from time to time. Where material changes are made, we will notify registered clients.
